At R&R Care Solutions, our caregivers are trained to delicately approach assisting clients with their daily personal care while assuring that they maintain as much independence in these tasks as they want.
What Personal Care Services Include:
Grooming
Grooming is an important part of most people's daily routine. Feeling like you have cared for yourself and you are confident in your appearance really makes a difference in the mental state of our clients. Our Caregivers will assist your loved one in brushing and styling their hair, shaving and more. Having a caregiver take the time to assist your loved one in caring for themselves can make the difference between a good day and a bad one.
Dressing
Assistance with dressing is a Common Activity of Daily Living (ADL) that our caregivers help with. Accidents and Falls can happen when our seniors are dressing due to loss of balance or confusion. Our caregivers are trained to both assist your loved ones with dressing as well as teach them how to walk through the steps of dressing safely with consideration for each individual client's needs. It is always our goal to create the greatest level of independence that we can for your loved one. We find that our Seniors are happiest when they can maintain some level of autonomy in their ADL’s and it is our goal to assist them in that.
Bathing & Hygiene
Personal Hygiene directly affects the health and wellbeing of our seniors. Our caregivers are trained in everything from bathing assistance to sponge bathing and can assist your loved one in using proper body mechanics when entering and exiting the tub or shower. Often, accidents happen when in the bathroom and because of that, assistance is key here. We will evaluate your loved ones space to assure that they have the proper set up to prevent falls and accidents. We find that often our seniors will want to avoid daily hygiene routines because of fear of falls. We are absolutely here to help and support them in these routines so that they stay healthy and happy.
